+Dimension Z starts off introducing its two core mechanics, the jump platforms and the rotating blocks. By the middle of the level, the player encounters the Ice Mage, the second type of mage found by the player on Normal Mode. The level finishes off in a vertical sequence, in which the player must use the jump platforms to get to the end.
