As mentioned before you'd need to find a solution for your subtitles as they're impossible to read in the short amount of time, they're lasting. Especially since the player doesn't know when they'll appear.
Furthermore I'd generally be careful about combining platforming elements with subtitles as it's normally not the player's wish to start reading while trying to survive difficult platforming sections.

Sections like the chest protected by the laser need clarification. I did for once not know that the disabled transition would hurt me and once you moved through it, you cannot get out without dying, due to the earlier loss of health. Wether it's unfinished or not is difficult to say at this point. Forced damage should be avoided if it's not serving a greater purpose for story elements and alike. If it's really needed for once, you'd need to take care of changing the gameplay to the point your health loss doesn't get unfair.

Your shading didn't suit the general atmosphere of the level too well and even started causing lag due to it's frequent usage. Except for the lowest shading and maybe the green ones for the moving planets, I'm not really sure why you've added the others as they're not really helping your level graphically. Shadings often work better if used subtle and sparingly throughout your level. Also try to avoid shading spikes. It's already difficult to tell them apart sometimes if they blend too well with their surroundings.

Spikes are generally a more troublesome element in this one. Try to avoid forcing perfect jumps, especially if additional difficulties (leaving water, moving objects,etc.) play a role. The spike usage should get a general overhaul to make the level more fair.

Last but not least. I'm not exactly sure what you're planning to do with the custom water you're moving in the background in the most left area of your level (which might be the start position from the looks of it.)
It took a while to notice it and I'm not sure if it's really needed, especially as the lower shading takes care of hiding it almost too well.

I will make those changes:

First change ) I will remove some sparkles and other useless shadows
Second change ) I will add a way for entering the room with a laser
Third change) I will remove some spikes and make some jumps easier (some will be darker)
Fourth change) I will add more arrows to know where is the end of the level.
Fifth change) The subtitles appear way longer.
Many more things.

And for the leaving water phase... Its unescessary ,its just a chance for avoiding the death. If you fail in a longer distance ,it will be harder to escape.
For the laser ,I used a glitch ,but yes I will add a way for entering it.
The sparkles are good for a cave I think. But I did not noticed lag on the first part of the level. Do you play with 60 frames per second? I dont know if the level lags with it ,I play with 30 fps.
I wanted to make a challenging level ,but I think it start to be a little unfair ,so you will see less very difficult jumps ,like the third one with the vertical platform.
The mountain is ice themed too ,because I dont know how to make solid water without making ice. So ,some shadows are here for showing its very cold (like the lower one)
Finally ,the custom water. I wanted to give the impression the mountain is on the side of an island. But I will remove it.

Its a preview of a level obviously but it features gimmicks like some piano (in 2.5D!) (he is the only at this time. ). If you walk on it the piano block goes down and slowy return to his original position (if you walk on the white side it descend more than if you walk on the dark side ,it can help for your level design). The first piano block is tagged Piano2 and the second is Piano1 (the third is Piano2) Also ,there is a custom block in 2.5D and it took time to make it... (tag is Box1)

Little tribute to -BY about 2.5D
ColdWater, your piano keys don't really look like piano keys. I know what you tried to do but if you didn't tell me, I would probably never have guessed. Also, you should make sure that as long as the player is standing on a key, the key is pressed. It would make more sense to me.
