I had no idea I had a "new" PM sitting there for nearly a whole month. Even if it was as simple as clicking the UCP tab, I still should have be notified in some way to KNOW to click it. What if I missed something important?

Maybe the User Control Panel tab could turn red? Or have a number next to it when there are new messages?

I tested the PMing system back then. Nice to know that it worked after all. ^^

Your PMs now display on the header bar. Hopefully now it will be harder to miss a PM.
