Round Invisible Hitboxes?

Having accurate hitbox collisions for certain things (such as round objects, gravity zones from planets, or anything else that is round) can be really difficult when we're only given square-shaped Invisible Hitboxes.
I really don't know if this can be programmed into the game, but I'd really like to have round hitboxes made. Would come in handy sometimes.
